[Samba] winbind stops authenticating until a restart.

Hi,

I think I have the same problem:
I am running a System with some win2k machines, samba 2.2.7 on Suse 8.2 and
it works fine.
Some days ago strange things started to happen: With my XP Laptop I can only
logon, after I switched one or settings back and forth and restarting the
smbd manually.
Is this a SMB or a WinXP problem?
Does anyone know more about this problem?

tnx
Matthias Mitze

Dear samba team !
I've read this message:
http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2003-July/070784.html of Adrian Chung
and it matches exactly my problem. Is there a solution for that problem ?
If you need some more information of my installation don't hesitate to
contact me.
thanx in advance
