[Samba] How to get XP to show its browse list? [SOLVED]

Mates,

    For the record, the problem with the XP client refusing to show its
browse list was caused by not using an appropriate username with smbclient.
To browse XP shares you must use a valid username for an account that exists
on the XP machine. That cured my problem:

skyline:/home/david # smbclient -L ripper -U david
added interface ip=192.168.6.14 bcast=192.168.6.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Got a positive name query response from 127.0.0.1 ( 192.168.6.100 )
Password:
Domain=[RB_LAW] OS=[Windows 5.1] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager]
