[root at frodo lib]# ls libnss_win* -la
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root        13828 Sep 24 21:01 libnss_winbind.so
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root       706072 Sep 24 21:01 libnss_wins.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           14 Sep 30 08:55 libnss_wins.so.2
-> libnss_wins.so

! libnss_winbind.so in /lib? If not, create one and issue an ldconfig
! -v |grep winbind and verify that it shows in the output. Once you've
! done that, try your getent command again.
