Right.  For those working with Debian, the Samba 3.0 package seems to 
work with common-file includes.  I'm presuming Debian is going that 
way?  Great idea, but the common-account include didn't have the 
winbind.so line.  Did that and now, we're golden!  obey pam restrictions 
is set to yes again, and home directories are autocreated.
