[Samba] 2.2.8a newbie path problem

Thanks for the reply Andre

Unfortunately my newbie level descends somewhere below completely
understanding your advice!

So I would type

ln -s /etc/samba/smb.conf /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf

or could I just type

ln -s /etc/samba/ /usr/local/samba/lib/

Do I have to link every Samba file from every original path to all the new
paths?????????????? So I'd have to go through /var too????
