[Samba] roaming profiles

I just did rpm -Uvh --force to reinstall wint 2.2.8a but smbstatus -b still
says 2.2.5?

look at 'smbstatus -b' for your version
check, if there's different versions of files on your machine (smbd,nmbd).
what does the logscripts say?

is the problem on a special machine or is it on a special user?
