it was working for me with version <= rc2 the end of net ads join -d 10 says: Search for (objectclass=*) gave 1 replies Got error packet 0x7e from kpasswd server parse_setpw_reply failed (Message stream modified) return code = -1 Let me know if you want the whole log/some other debug info. -dave
