I am having problem resolving local machine names from the workstaions, but I can resolve
them from the server e.g.

If I ping from the local server "mail.cf.com" I get..

PING mail.cf.com (10.0.0.1) from 10.0.0.100 : 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from mail.cf.com (10.0.0.1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=128 time=0.274 ms
....

but if i ping from the workstation "mail.cf.com" I get..
Unknown host mail.cf.com

Am am not sure what to to next I have tried adding the local server to the route
"route del default gw 10.0.0.100" when I did that all my internet access died and I still
could not ping by name the mail server.

If I do "netstat -nr" i get:
Kernel IP routing table
