Hi.

First, want to thanks for the subj.
Then, I have smth. to add to Your HOTOW:

1) configure option ``--sysconfdir=/etc/samba'' seems not to work properly, 
cause after make install I have to put smb.conf into 
/etc/samba/samba/smb.conf (so the testparm said)

2) then I have to ask (maybe samba team) -- why the solved (in configure 
script) man-path is: $PREFIX/man? If You advise to set ``--prefix=/usr'', 
then I have man pages installed into /usr/man -- is it right? I thought 
instead -- /usr/share/man ??

That's (at this place) all. But can I await smth in that clue?

Or have I done smth wrong?
