Hi doug
using
  printer admin = names of admins
will allow you to change access rights to printers from windows boxes(at
least win2k) if you are logged in to the windows box as one
of the printer admin.
if you use another box as a password server you can use
  security = server
  password server = "name_of_password_server"
to authenticate users using that box.
