It looks like you have the Apache

David Lechnyr sent me this recently...

BUG: When compiling Samba 3.0.0 on a machine with Apache installed, the
Apache file /usr/(local)?/include/ap_compat
causes the build to abort with the following error message:

~ tdb/tdbutil.o: In function `tdb_search_keys':
~ /tmp/samba-3.0.0/source/tdb/tdbutil.c:791: undefined reference to
~ collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
~ make: *** [bin/smbd] Error 1

SOLUTION: Delete the ap_compat file or move it out of the include
directories and rebuild Samba again. It's used only for backwards
Apache 1.2.x functionality.
