[Samba] SmbTar & on the fly compression

Hi,

I was doing backups previously using smbclient and normal tar.  In this way
I could compress my backups on the fly.  The limitation I found in doing it
this way was with incremental backups.

I started looking at smbtar.  It does a great job with incremental backups.
I haven't been able to find a way to do on the fly compression with it
though.  Could anyone point me in the right direction?
