[Samba] Samba locking up... because of Java!

Hi,

Does anyone have some idea why Java process (run on latest Sun JDK on 
RedHat 9 linux server with latest updates) would block Samba from 
working? I have a Java process on the server and when it runs for some 
time Samba server in the same machine will hang, causing people to lock 
up in login screens and file operations to fail...

It is NOT caused by resource starvation (RAM is planty, CPU idle, I/O 
light). Does Samba use pthreads? JDK claims it has made it work but i 
guess not...

Any ideas would be welcome.
