[Samba] NFS + Samba

Hello List!
	OK, here is my enviroment:

Many Unix servers, running Solaris 6 and 7, one Solaris 8 with Samba, and
many pcs.

I'm having a problem with a user that works in both environments, he worked
using a unix workstation and the move to use a windows laptops sometimes.
The problem is that when he wants to overwrite a file using the pc (trough
samba), he receive a message that the file is in use. But he doesn't have
the file open. This allways happens when he used the file before in the unix
environment (trough NFS). So, there is anyway to force samba to override NFS
locks? (I'm asssuming than NFS is locking the file or the filesystem)
