[Samba] 3.0-cannot create profile directory...

Hi everyone, upon login windows reports:

"Windows cannot create profile directory \\fw\profiles\leon.pds.
You will be logged on with a local profile only. Changes to the profile will
not be propagated to the server."

Then it says: "Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on
with a temporary profile. Changes you make..."

looked all over now, tested variations of my smb.conf. One thing looks
suspiocious in the log:

"smbd/service.c:make_connection_snum(670)
  '/home/samba/profiles/' does not exist or is not a directory, when
connecting to [profiles] "


Clues, tips?? All afternoon and night so far on this one, I'm at 21:28+0800
