Do you still have any problems after you scrub the LDAP replica, make a new
reaplica and make samba use a DN *not* used by the replication process?

Only the 'read only replicat, try here...' reply will cause samba to
use the master.  This means you need to use something other than the
replicator DN for samba.

Many of the other bugs are, as you correctly mentioned, in bugzilla,
and will be dealt with when people get time.
