[Samba] Is samba isntalled or not?

Thanks Doug,

actually I already tried this

[root at localhost RPMS]# rpm -e samba-client-2.0.7-36.i386.rpm
error: package samba-client-2.0.7-36.i386.rpm is not installed

I am lost.
