[Samba] Re: IP address not available

My boot log has an entry when loading lpd that says"Get_local_host: 
'localhost' IP address not available'."   My log.nmbd file has a 
warning: No network interfaces found.  

My hosts file says 
127.0.0.1  localhost

My lmhosts says
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.2.19 localhost

Where is Samba looking to find these items?  ifconfig shows etho and lo
set up with 192.168.2.19 and 127.0.0.1 respectively.
