[Samba] WinXP cannot access win9x shares in Domain

I have a problem with WinXP accessing shares on win9x, error given
"permission denied, no access to file"  The winxp is and win9x are part
of a smb domain. The XP has no problem joining the domain and accessing
the file shares on the server. Win9x can share among themselves and
access server shares. They are also log on to the server. What could be
the problem here? Please help. Urgent help needed as I need to access
the printer sharing on the win9x machines.
