Dear folks:

  I have the problem where MS programs cannot do
oplocks correctly
and I have been told to turn off oplocks on the linux
samba server. The problem does not go away when I
put these lines in smb.conf:

   oplocks = no
   kernel oplocks = no
   level2 oplocks = no

What am I missing, please?

	lock dir = /usr/local/samba/var/locks
	pid directory = /usr/local/samba/var/locks
	block size = 1024
	veto oplock files =
	blocking locks = Yes
	fake oplocks = No
	locking = Yes
	oplocks = No
	level2 oplocks = No
