[Samba] Samba Home drive problems

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but here goes:

We have an Active directory server which also hosts user home drives. I have managed to get winbind working so users can log in. They can also get their home drives using Sharity but so can everybody else. Is there a way around this at all? Is there some sort of NFS server for Windows which will preserve permissions on directories. By the way, I see that this list is mainly about queries and complaints but I would like to thank the Samba team for all the work and effort they have put in to such a great project. Keep it up!!
