[Samba] ask about oplock kernel in detail

Hi all..

I see that there is oplock kernel option in samba

Is there somebody here that can help me to get an
information / link about how the kernel manage that
oplock option.

I'm not looking for an explanation about how the
oplock do their job, but im looking for something in
detail or general howto or maybe theory about kernel
task on file activity.

I want to compare how linux (samba) and windows do
their job behind their kernel, so it would be nice if
I can get both documentation (in Linux and Windows)
