[Samba] send message problem

hello everybody.

i am trying to send message to wink box from linux box
using samba.

but i am getting error "session request failed".

here is what i am trying to do.

[root at gaurav root]# smbclient //192.168.0.1/c -U
maverick
added interface ip=192.168.0.254 bcast=192.168.0.255
nmask=255.255.255.0
session request to 192.168.0.1 failed (Called name not
present)
session request to 192 failed (Called name not
present)

Domain=[LABS] OS=[Windows 5.0] Server=[Windows 2000
LAN Manager]
smb: \> exit
[root at gaurav root]# smbclient -M 192.168.0.1 test
added interface ip=192.168.0.254 bcast=192.168.0.255
nmask=255.255.255.0
session request failed
[root at gaurav root]#

as u can see i am able to login to win2k machin ebut
not able to send messages.
any idea?
