AH HAH! The workstation CAN'T see the Samba server when I try to browse it
using \\SAMBA_SERVER ! hmmmmm.

The /etc/samba/lmhosts file has this:

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.51.3    SAMBA_SERVER

and I have

wins support = Yes

in the /etc/samba/smb.conf

and 192.168.51.3 as the Primary Wins server on the workstation as well as
the Primary and Secondary DNS servers for our Internet service.

Is there something else I need to set up for this? Man .. this has gone
from one problem, to a completely different one! ;-)

Thanks again for your help,

Rick
