AW: [Samba] Samba 2.2.8a :: High CPU usage and Printer

hello jeremy,

thank you very much for your help.

after using strace i found the problem. The trace was very huge and 
I found a lot of entries  like this:

  open("/tmp/SMBtrans2.14.resp", O_WRONLY|O_CREAT|O_EXCL|O_LARGEFILE,
0644) = -1 EEXIST (File exists)

I found loads of these files in the /tmp directory. 

This pointed me back to the smb.conf and I simply removed the 
debug level 100 line in smb.conf and the problem was solved ;)
