Hi,

Lots of thanks, my system Mandrake 9.1, with kernel downgraded to 2.4.19
(from Mandrake 9.0 for acl support), and recompiled to include acpi
support. works out of the box with mount.smbfs3 from samba beta3
recompiled from mandrake cooker contribs.
I checked my

/usr/src/linux/include/linux/smb.h

and it has

#define SMB_MAX_PACKET_SIZE		32768

strange enough isn't it?

Best Regards
