[Samba] swat

There might be a log called messages.

This might be a firewall issue. What do you see with:
iptables -L | less  ?

Try, as root,  iptables -P INPUT ACCEPT

This command is only safe if you have this machine behind a firewall or
if it is not connected to the internet.
