Thanks. Am I correct to assume this file and only this file contains
information on the SID->uid/gid map?

What would be the consequences of rsyncing this file from Server1 to Server2
while winbindd is running on both?

Or, even wilder, can the directory containing this file be NFS exported to
Server2?
