Yes, I have a comparable setup here. I use:

- Samba (one configured as PDC, all others as BDC)
- OpenLDAP (slapd on every server, replication via slurpd)
- cups
- Postfix + courier-imap
- rsync + ssh

The use of OpenLDAP (or LDAP in general) for user-authentification and 
keeping user- and group-information is the key for a distributed setup.
