Which version of samba is this? There was a change in some of the
scripts somewhere around 2.2.5 IIRC. Anyway, in both cases you need to
edit the script to set your ldap server details ($DN, $ROOTDN, $rootpw
and $LDAPSERVER, and then run something like this:

./import_smbpasswd.pl < /etc/samba/smbpasswd
