i just took a look - it looks fine to me for a samba 2.2 ldap PDC.

are you sure that machine accounts are being created in /etc/passwd?
if you've moved them to the ldap server then you don't need them in
/etc/password

do you have the ldap server configured correctly?
(ie ldapsearch -x returns all your users?)
