Hi Peter,
I'm not really sure, but (depending on your domain environment) you
could need some of these lines:
template homedir = /home/%D/%U
template shell = /bin/bash
netbios name = my_computer
wins server = 123.123.123.123
security = domain
password server = *
encrypt passwords = yes
workgroup = MY_DOMAIN
log file = /var/log/samba/%m
