[Samba] windows to linux server, figured it out

hello all,

   Not but a short while ago I was asking how to get a windows client to
   print to a linux server using cups. Anyways, I found out it was
   actualy a combination of 2 steps.
   First I had to uncomment the following in mime.types in the cups dir

   application/octet-stream

   and the following in mime.convs

   application/octet-stream        application/vnd.cups-raw        0
   -

   next I had to put the following line in my smb.conf under the
   apropriate printer group

   print command = /usr/bin/lpr -o raw -P%p -r %s

   after I took these steps windows prints to my linux printer like a
   charm. I did check for the option to disable bidrectional suport but
   most everything including that opton was disabled and greyed out.
   Thnx for evryones posts that got me on the right path.
