hi all,
i've got problems with mapping domain groups. i've got PDC running on samba
2.2.7a (FreeBSD 4.7). on the second box i've got samba 2.2.5 & squid 2.5
(also FreeBSD 4.7). i want to configure transparent squid authorization
using winbind.
everythink works fine when i use wb_auth for users authorization.
but, there is problem with using wb_group.
i've made an attempt with wb_group but it seems to be problem with domain
groups. wbinfo -g returns only two groups: Domain Admins and Domain Users.
so i've add into smb.conf, on my PDC box, lines:
domain admin group = internet @internet
domain guest group = internet @internet
i thought that those two lines (even one of them) will map unix groups as
domain groups - but i got still the same.
./wb_group -d with domain\\user internet returns ERR.
./wb_group -d with domain\\user "Domain Guests" returns OK.
i was reading o'raily samba book. there was a option "domain group map" but
i think in current version it doesnt exist.
is there any possibility to map groups (unix group=windows domain group) in
samba 2.2.7a?
Regards
Uki
