Hi there:

I've tried RCVBUF and SNDBUF as 262144, to no avail.  Max xmit is set to
65535 according to testparm.  At a desired bitrate of 500Mbit/sec I wish
to be able to transfer a 1GB file in 16 seconds.

Thanks for the info.  How long are your transfer times?
