Hello

I joined an NT 4.0 Domain with Samba running on a Redhat 8.0 box..
However I'm trying to get Samba to authenticate Domain users for samba
shares using the NT 4.0's PDC.

I can't seem to get it to authenticate correctly and I'm not sure what's
wrong.
To log in, I tried using "Domain\user" or just "user" but none of those seem
to be working..
To authenticate under samba using an NT domain's users I would need WinBind
correct?
I set that up correctly i believe though I dont know of any way of testing
that it is correct.

Some of the errors I'm getting in the Samba error logs are the following:

[2003/02/10 16:02:07, 0]
smbd/password.c:connect_to_domain_password_server(1367)
connect_to_domain_password_server: unable to setup the PDC credentials to
machine HUDSON. Error was : NT_STATUS_OK.
[2003/02/10 16:02:07, 0] rpc_client/cli_netlogon.c:cli_net_auth2(157)
  cli_net_auth2: Error NT_STATUS_NO_TRUST_SAM_ACCOUNT
[2003/02/10 16:02:07, 0] rpc_client/cli_login.c:cli_nt_setup_creds(72)
  cli_nt_setup_creds: auth2 challenge failed

Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Alex
