[Samba] Valid users as group fails

Just wondering if anyone is experiencing a similar problem.

System:

RedHat 8.0
Samba 3.0
LDAP 2.1.23

vaild users on a share fails yet individual users works. I've seen other
posts similar to this.

Users have a memberUID entry directory in LDAP. The Linux box has group
506 mapped to sambaSid Sxxx...-2013

Where can I look for problems?
