Could you rephrase your question?  I dont know how i found out what the 
node type of my workstations is.
(after some googling i tried looking in the registry for the key 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netbt\Parameters 
NodeType, but i couldnt find the entry)
