[Samba] Trouble installing Samba 3.0.0 (SPARC 64 bit version) on Solaris 9

I'm having difficulty installing Samba 3.0.0 on Solaris 9. The 'make'
process seems to be hung on the 'creating
/export/home/samba-3.0.0/source/include/proto.h' part of the build. 

Any insight?
