[Samba] Mapping unixGroup to ntgroup problem

I am running samba under Solaris.  I am using  V 3.0.0.  I have made a group
in /etc/group.  I then try to use the following net command to create the
group.
 
net group unixgroup=msdc type=domain ntgroup=msdc
 
It then prompts me for a password and then returns me back to the Unix
prompt.
 
I then run a 
 
net groupmap list 
 
and the msdc group is not there.
 
What is my problem?
