Following instructions from DIAGNOSIS.txt, I ran testparm on our smb.co=
nf
(which is in /etc/samba, not /usr/local/samba/lib) and it was OK.

I will increase the log level in order to see whether the internal erro=
r is
related to messages received by smbd.

I hope this info will be helpful in tracking down the bug.
