No subject

I thought it was a problem with the username/password until the localhost  
attempt worked.  I think it might be something out side of samba causing the 
problem(ssl, pam, etc...) but I don't know where to look.  I have no firewall 
or hosts.deny entries.

I have also tried setting it up with SWAT, but I still get the same error.  
But again copying a working config from the other linux box didn't fix it.

Any thoughts would be helpful.
