Can see the Unix box. Upon clicking on it, a username & password is required. This is entered. I used the same one as specified as guest in smb.conf This exists under Unix admin. Passwd used to set the password. I believe it records this in /etc/passwd Exactly the same username and password was created on Nt. Then logged on with it and did all of the above. But no luck ?
