[Samba] Shares & Starting Samba

Hello Samba.org

A couple of newbie questions:

Redhat 7.2, Samba 3.0.0beta3

1. When I try to add a share in SWAT (enter a name and select create share) a new page loads that says parameters but shows no GUI widgets/text to configure the share. Why would this fail?

2. After starting Samba the SWAT status page shows that smbd is not running while nmbd is running.  However, ps -A | egrep smbd shows that smbd is running.
