[Samba] Samba3/OpenLDAP2.1.x Tools

I'm trying to configure a Samba3/OpenLDAP2.1.x PDC following the very
sparse documentation that is out there with little success.  My current
issue is finding a set of tools that will work successfully with Samba3
and the new samba.schema that works with OpenLDAP2.1.x.  I've been
trying recently to get the IDEALX tools to work, but without success.  

Does anyone have any suggestions on which tools to use for account
maintenance with an LDAP backend?  I'd hate to have to create all my
accounts individually by hand everytime I wanted to add a new machine or
something.  Plus I'm not sure how the SID's are created.

Here is my latest output from the IDEALX smbldap-useradd.pl tool while
trying to create a machine account.  The posixAccount portion gets
completed, but it fails to add the sambaSamAccount information:

PS  I'm using OpenLDAP 2.1.22, Samba3 beta2, IDEALX tools ver. 1.14,
Debian sid.
