Samba Users:

I am having a problem authenticating against my Active Directory
domain from my Samba Box. I have setup an HP box that has two shares /home
and /tmp. I have joined the HP box to the AD domain using the "net ads
join" command and did not receive any errors doing this. I am not running
PAMS or Winbind, but just want to authenticate users mapping a drive to my
HP shares using their Active Directory accounts. LDAP and KERBEROS are
running on the HP box.

However, I receive the following error in the log when trying to map
a drive to the HP box:

[2003/08/07 07:47:36, 0] lib/smbldap.c:(253)
  fetch_ldap_pw: neither ldap secret retrieved!
[2003/08/07 07:47:36, 0] lib/smbldap.c:(739)

[2003/08/07 07:47:36, 0] auth/auth_domain.c:(192)
domain_client_validate: unable to validate password for user in domain
MYDOMAIN
to Domain controller \\DOMAIN_CONTROLLER. Error was NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL.
[2003/08/07 07:47:36, 1] passdb/passdb.c:(419)
  NULL guest account!?!?
[2003/08/07 07:47:36, 0] auth/auth_util.c:(994)
  make_server_info_info3: pdb_init_sam failed!

Can anyone help me determine where my problem exists?

Thanks,
Brad
