[Samba] Access denied, unable to connect to printer

Does printing actually work despite the error?  If so, look in man
smb.conf at "use client driver" for the most likely explanation to your
problem.  Quickest fix is to set use client driver = yes for that print
share, since you installed the driver locally on the XP client and are
probably logged in as a local administator.  The better solution is to
use the print$ share and install the drivers from samba.  If you do,
however, plan to continue installing all drivers locally, you may want
to consider the disable spoolss global parameter.
