[Samba] robocopy from ntfs to samba

I am trying to make a backup file server for the NT Server 4 that I am
currently using and am getting stung by permissions.

I am currently tying to use robocopy to copy from the NT machine to the
samba machine.

Is there a good way t okeep the permissions on the files directories
translated?  I have looked at the Win32::Perms perl module and some
scripts that use it. but that seems very cumbersome.
