[Samba] Can't export /proc filesystem

Hello,

I want samba (2.2.5) to export the /proc filesystem - but exported files
seem to be empty :(

I already removed the "don't descent /proc" statement from smb.conf. 
Windows clients are able to list all files from /proc but most of them
are 0 bytes and empty when opened. Log.smbd shows _no_ errors on reading
a file.
Only /proc/mmtr has a size > 0 and clients can read it...

Is there a chance to read /proc from windows clients?
May it due to file locking? What is wrong?
