[Samba] need help accessing samba share

below is the transcript of what i faced when i tried to access a share fm by 
linux m/c it would be grate if u could help me out


[root at linux/root]# smbclient //servername/sharename -U root
add interface ip=192.168.1.100 bcast=192.168.1.255netmask=255.255.255.0
